ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING
A person attitude is an amazing thing. When we get up in the morning, we have two choices. One is to be a pessimist. A pessimist is a person who always sees the negative side of things. For them things happened to them rather than making things happen for themselves. On the other hand is the optimist. This person chooses to train himself or herself to have a positive mental attitude. They know they must have a positive attitude towards their job, spouse and family and towards life in general. These people are the select few who always get the most out of life, in everything they do.
Having a positive mental attitude can be the difference between having a happy productive life, or an unhappy miserable life. It can even affect our health. It has been medically proven that happy optimistic people produce enzymes that promote healing and affect the body´s immune system. Have you ever noticed that people who are always complaining and pessimistic are the same people that are always sick and have ongoing health problems? Is it possible that a positive mental attitude could be a cure for certain types of disease? We may never know, but we do know that happy people just tend to “feel better”.
Those of us lucky enough to live in Los Cabos have every reason to be happy and enthusiastic about life. To live in paradise with clean air and water, beautiful scenery and an ocean full of sea life is truly a gift from God that we must all appreciate.
The tourist business is on the verge of an explosion, which creates future jobs for all of us. People from all over the world are coming here to enjoy the unparalleled beauty of land´s end. There is a quite possibly not a better place to be on this entire earth than right here, right now.
We must all change our attitude and be 100% enthusiastic about life here. The best gift we can give our children is the gift of passion for life, an enthusiasm for everything life has to offer. Remember, the attitudes that our children see in their parents are the attitudes they will have throughout their own lives.
Keep an open mind an open hearth and be a possibility thinker. Whatever we can perceive is possible. Baja California is the greatest example of this. When it was discovered, there was a virtually nothing here. God gave us the natural elements, but the people of Baja have developed everything else from nothing.
There is the old saying about the minister who said to the farmer: “look at this beautiful farm the lord gave you” The farmer, thinking about all of the work, sweat and time put into development of the land said back to the minister. You should have seen this place when the Lord has it for himself”.
The people of Los Cabos have made the area what it is. The attitude and pride of the people are what has made the Los Cabos area one of the most desired vacation destinations in the world. Be proud to be part of It.!
So remember, the best gift you can give is your positive attitude. The best thing you can give yourself is to wake up in the morning with enthusiasm for life. Live life with passion. Be excited. Set goals for yourself and do not give up until you reach them. Do not let anyone get in the way of your winning attitude and remember above all else.
